Poster Icons was created in recognition to the work of film studios, artists as well as the movie legends on screen that all helped in the launch of an integral piece of promotional material – The Cinema Poster.
Launched in 2004, we have travelled around the U.K at various exhibitions and shows displaying the collection. Our website allows for the first time to browse and purchase an original piece of cinema art spanning back six decades from our online gallery.
The artists and their work remain undervalued to this current day. We will attempt to rightfully credit each film poster to the artist/s responsible for the illustration and design of these pieces and to share as much information as possible.
